Winter and soup

I've been eating a lot of soup recently. It's warming, quick and easy to make and you can make it with anything. Have enough of it and it's incredibly filling. Also broth. It's like the cheaper watery version of soup, unless you're making it like I do. With parmigiana, parsley, bacon lardons and butter beans. Then it's a bit more pricey!

Here's me at a BPK event where we cooked our infamous Carrot, organs and coriander soup. All surplus and yummy. Coining this word right now: Slurplus!

I'm reading poetry to inspire our cooks and chefs. You can see what they wrote in return over at the Be Enriched  blog beenriched.wordpress.com
