I was over joyed to see so many local faces from wandsworth's music, arts, creatives, news, residents, officers and councillors at the official media launch of the London borough of Culture

A media launch is the PR event that gets the public excited for your event or campaign. In Wandsworth we want to grab the attention of the media not just for local people but also for people across London because want everyone to come and enjoy the fab year of Culture and Heritage ahead we have planned and those bits yet to be created.

I got to meet one of my musical heroes and the Artistic icon Sonya Boyce as well as give a welcoming speech to the people of Wandsworth and the wonderful Battersea Arts centre.
